OUR PROGRAM PARTNERS
All dogs at Double Dare Shelties are DNA tested through Embark, Animal Genetics and UC Davis. Adult dogs are evaluated by a reproductive veterinarian to be healthy before they are bred. We are a small hobby breeder that has one or two litters per year.
We use Dearing Veterinary Clinic in Abilene for all our veterinarian needs. All our dogs are vaccinated as needed and receive yearly vet exams and dental cleanings.
We use Empowered Breeder curriculum and socialization methods for puppy development and evaluations. Puppies are exposed to Early Neurological Stimulation, scent exercises, grooming, nail care, potty training, kennel training and leash work.
All dogs at Double Dare Shelties are registered through the American Kennel Club. We are also active members of the Concho Kennel Club of San Angelo, Texas.
